Remedies For Bruxism

Bruxism, or teeth grinding, is most common during sleep which can seriously damage your teeth.

You may grind your teeth at night if you wake up in the morning with:

  • a headache
  • a sensitive jaw
  • sores on your cheeks

Consult your dentist if you think you have bruxism.

Here are some things that you can do to help combat grinding your teeth:

  • exercise more to reduce stress
  • laugh a lot and have fun
  • follow a healthy and regular diet
  • avoid alcohol, coffee and sugary drinks

If bruxism has damaged your teeth you should see a cosmetic dentist to discuss whether crowns or veneers may be a suitable treatment for you.
