Free extractions are available at the Good Samaritan Ministry. The service is provided by volunteer dentists.
Dental patients can also now get a range of free oral hygiene products such as mouth rinses, toothpaste, floss, and toothbrushes courtesy of a grant received from Smile180 which is the welfare arm of Delta Dental of Tennessee whose aim is to improve the oral health of Tennessee residents by working closely with local charities.
The donation will also help with the purchase of much-needed dental equipment, medicines and other associated expenses.
“We believe in the transformative power of a smile to truly turn someone’s life around and want to support clinics across our state that are improving the oral care of so many individuals in need.”
The Good Samaritan Ministry is based at 346 Union St, Clarksville.
