Some foods can be worse than others when you are grabbing a quick bite-to-eat for your working lunch, especially if you don’t have the time or facilities to clean your teeth after eating.
You may develop bad smelly breath or have to endure food stuck between your teeth until you get home.
Here are a few work-lunch foods that should be avoided:
Tuna – ready to eat but your breath will smell badly afterwards.
Spicy Foods – these can upset your stomach and your breath will not smell fresh afterwards.
Spinach – a salad is healthy but spinach can get stuck on your teeth and ruin your smile for the rest of the day.
Corn On The Cob – this can get trapped in your teeth, much like spinach.
Garlic And Onion -avoid at all costs if you don’t want your breath to stink.
If you are unable to brush and floss your teeth after a working lunch, at least try to carry a mouthwash with you to rinse well after eating.
