Fluoride For Teeth

One of the main benefits of fluoride in toothpaste is to reduce the risk of tooth decay, which is a huge worldwide problem.

Fluoride is also added to the water supply in some parts of the world (a process called fluoridation).

Dentists recommend that we use a toothpaste that contains fluoride.

If you have a higher-than-normal-risk of developing tooth decay, there are also gels, mouthwashes and higher-concentrate toothpastes available, though you should always seek the advice of a dental professional before using treatments such as these.
